Experience the Magic of Billie Eilish's Bad Guy with PianoX's Piano Cover
Bad Guy took the world in 2019 and is still one of the most popular songs in the history of music. Hence, many people have made covers, renditions, songs and lyric covers. PianoX had made the cover of the top 5 songs of Billie Eilish’s songs and their piano tutorial. One of the songs that is played is Bad Guy.
The song starts at 3:59 seconds on the video. The original song is in G Major but PianoX plays the song in Bb Major key signature. The time signature of the song is 4/4 and the tempo of the original song is about 135 BPM.
The original song starts with the beats that are played throughout the verse. The first time starts without the lyrics and then there are two polarographs in the first verse, the second paragraph then has the additional beats to add a new layer to the song.
PianoX starts by playing the song similarly. There are chords that are played in the beats. Starting from the bit left side of the piano and then in between a section there is one key that is played. Then the left-hand stays there where the right hand come towards the a but if the middle of the piano. Then the final second paragraph of the verse is played, then slowly the left hand also comes towards the right and then verse 1 ends when there is a long key played by the left hand and the chorus starts.
The chorus is the most fun part of the song. This is a peppy part of the song because the beats and lyrics are catchy and easy to remember. This section has 8 times played for each line.
The chorus in PianoX starts at four minutes and twenty-seven seconds. The first four times are repeated. It is played on the left side of the piano as well. You can hear and sing the lyrics with these beats; that much how popular the song is. Then there is a short pause and then the next four are played. These are a bit faster than the rest and there are many keys that are being played. This song has a chord and is repeated many times, and then a new chord. It is a very good song from PianoX that you can learn and practice your piano with even for beginners and intermediate piano players.
Then comes the post–chorus at four minutes and forty-one seconds which is the final eighth of the chorus which in the lyrics is the ‘I’m the bad guy, Duh’ and then followed by the faster beats.
Here PianoX plays it slowly and softly from the right hand, the long presses a single key. This is where the lyrics ‘I’m the bad guy. Before the fast part, there is a small key that is pressed very quickly and gently and it is very hidden yet visible ‘Duh’ anyone has covered through their song. This is again the fast part with many keys played. This is the highlight of PianoX’s this bad guy cover. In the initial part of the second half of the post-chorus, PianoX played it in the centre again repeated four times. And then right-hand moves slightly towards the right side of the piano and the left-hand does move slightly towards the left. Then PianoX again repeats the beats three times and the final fourth PianoX ends with a small outro to the song.
There is still Verse 2, Chorus, post-chorus, Bridge and an Outro left to the original song, but as this was a compilation of all the top 5 songs of Billie Eilish's so PianoX had cut it short with the other parts and played the first half of the song. The atmosphere and feel created by PianoX was very similar to the original song and it is still a fun song to play.
Billie's unique style and persona have also contributed to the success of Bad Guy and her rise to stardom. Her music is known for its dark and moody sound, often featuring haunting vocals and introspective lyrics that explore themes of mental health, relationships, and self-acceptance. This authenticity and vulnerability have resonated with audiences, particularly younger listeners, who have hailed Billie as a relatable and empowering role model. As a result, Bad Guy quickly became a cultural phenomenon, with the music video amassing over a billion views on YouTube and the song topping charts around the world. PianoX did an amazing piano playing and people who are interested in Billie's songs just grab a sheet music and start playing the song and enjoy.
